torrevieja petanca attracts wetherby tourists for a third time – Leader

TORREVIEJA PETANCA. A team of eight players arrived in mid October from Wetherby and supplemented by local ex pats undertook a tour of five clubs.
This was their most successful tour to date as two individuals won prizes (at El Limonar and San Luis competitions) and then went on to win their matches at Los Balcones and Delores Peacocks.
The most exciting match was at Castillo were they won four of the eight games but lost the overall event, 163 points to 162.
The touring party expressed their delight in the reception they received from all concerned and will be back again in 2014.
